When thinking of the United Arab Emirates, most people focus on Dubai and Abu Dhabi, two of mankind’s most enterprising feats. However, I find the soul of the UAE flourishes in its remotest corners, like the long-established markets of Al Ain and Rub ‘Al Khali the so-called Empty Quarter which is the largest sand desert in the world. There is so much to witness in the UAE, if you take the time to dig deeper into this fascinating sandbox.
