Vietnam offers the endlessly mesmerizing juxtapositions of bustling cities and stunning countryside but I am drawn to its incredibly vibrant minorities that truly are some of the richest cultures in Asia. I never tire of visiting Ha Giang and Sapa, and of taking the river journey via the Mekong Delta north from Saigon, watching with my camera as the nascent metropolis fade into timeless rice paddies.
